I live in Chester County in South Eastern PA in USDA Hardiness Zone 7a. We still have lots of snow in our area. It is melting. There will be no tree, shrub or flower planting for quite a bit now. Even our Arnold's Promise Witch Hazel hasn't bloomed yet. It usually blooms the 3rd or 4th week of Feb.

Is meteorological spring , like civil and nautical twilight? A real and definitive thing that we never hear about unless we are in a specific field to need it? I live in Alaska, so I tend to hear these words more than most. Meteorological spring is a new one to me though. Nice.
