SAD lights are ok but what really made me feel a lot better was a sunrise/sunset alarm. Going to sleep with full sunlight slowly fading to black was a great way to get to sleep. Morning sunrise from black to full sun with birdsong playing made a great sunny start to the day. Still use it every day.

It's increasingly my conclusion at least 50% of all British folklore is just bad SAD. I don't really know how other people live their lives so unalienated from their own bodies and in control of their own energy and motivation. Everything from now to March is just weak light through bare branches
