The Quran is significantly less bloody than the Jewish Bible. The latter, for example, makes genocide the standard objective in war, whereas the former is more concerned with defense. It's ironic that people in the West are terrified of Islam while carrying out the Holocaust in Palestine.

Good advice. Problem is the people for whom religious writing leads to hate and darkness, will not take any advice from anyone outside the bubble of hate and darkness - even preachers in their own chosen tradition (who are all "liberal apostates" or some such). Fundamentalism is a hell of a drug.
